You don't need a huge following to land marketing clients. You need a system. Here are the cold email and outreach templates I teach in my freelancing mentorship.
Outreach is a numbers game with a quality filter
Most beginners send five generic messages and give up. Landing clients through cold outreach is a volume game — but only once the message itself is specific enough to earn a reply.
Research before you write a word
Before sending anything, look at the brand’s current ads (or lack of them), their store, their socials. One specific observation in your opening line beats any amount of generic flattery.
The structure that gets replies
Every message I send follows the same shape: a specific observation, a clear value statement tied to a result (not a feature list), and a low-friction next step.
- Line 1: a specific, true observation about their brand
- Line 2: the result you believe you can move, tied to a real number
- Line 3: a low-friction ask — a quick call, not a contract
The follow-up is where deals are won
Most replies come from the second or third follow-up, not the first message. We teach a simple, non-pushy follow-up cadence inside the Meta Ads + Freelancing mentorship, along with the full template library.
You don’t need a portfolio of 50 clients to start — you need one good message, sent consistently, to the right people.
